Meditation is really just about concentration. When you focus your mind on something, whether washing dishes, gardening or even doing yoga, you may be meditating. Meditation means the mind is relaxed and calm, with increased gaps between thoughts, all while remaining aware and conscious.
There is no right or wrong way to meditate. The difficulty lies in relaxing the mind. Our brain is always working and most people haven’t learned to calm the flow of their thoughts. It is a proven fact that the body cannot fully relax until the mind is relaxed.
